Custom Farmhouse Table Design

An old pal from Ballard Designs called me up and asked me to help her design a dining table for new fabulous new home. Working from the info below, we came up with a beautiful solution for her metal-working friends to produce. Once we have final photos I will be sure to update!!

The specifics on the table are as follows:

Overall dims:
72"L x 40"W x 30"H

Materials:
Top: French limestone 2cm
Base: iron on casters

Notes:
- The table will be used in our eat in kitchen. (who knows if that makes a difference!?)
- i like when the base of the table is in the center, so you don't hit your knees if you are sitting at the ends.
