Adding texture to furniture creates visual interest on even the simplest of pieces. Gilding and leafing calls even more attention detail. These three finishes have been very popular lately, so I thought I would share and hope to inspire :)
Texture is also fun in smaller doses, such as on ottoman legs, chair feet, picture frames, and lamps. I like to balance big texture with tight weaves of linen and smooth solid surfaces.
